The roster your whole team can read.

Example roster with made-up names. One week, three ways to share it.

A manager's week, in ScripDock

Your week can start on any day. This one starts on a Tuesday, like the bar where ScripDock began.

  1. Tue

    Build the week

Pick a department, add shifts from its shift types ("Day", "12:00 – Close", times optional) and put your people on them. Shifts repeat every week, so next week already has them; you only choose who works. Nobody can be put on two overlapping shifts. Need a monthly roster instead? Switch it in Settings.

  2. Wed

Share it the way your team already reads it

Staff open the roster on their phones, read-only. Or copy it into the WhatsApp group, print it for the back room, or download it as an Excel timetable, one sheet per department.

  3. Fri

    Run the shift

Staff with a login clock in and out on their own phones, or a manager does it for them. Times come from the server, not the phone. Late starts, early finishes and forgotten clock-outs are flagged against the roster for you to check.

  4. Sat

    Deal with the paperwork properly

Give a written warning: ScripDock numbers it per offence and gives you a Word letter to sign. A third valid warning becomes a final warning and reminds you a disciplinary hearing is due. Staff documents stay private to the people allowed to see them.

  5. Mon

Approve leave and keep contracts current

Leave comes in as a request with a Word form; only people who may approve leave can approve or reject it, and approved leave keeps that person off the roster. Part-time contracts warn you before they expire.

Everyone sees the roster. You decide who sees the rest.

Name your own roles, like Supervisor or Bartender, and switch on what each may do. A role with nothing switched on sees the roster with names only, and their own clock times.

  • Edit the roster
  • Manage staff records
  • Give warnings
  • Give leave
  • Approve leave
  • Manage contracts
  • Clock others in and out

Questions

Do my staff need to install anything?

No. ScripDock runs in the phone's browser. On a phone it can be added to the home screen and then opens like an app.

Can staff see each other's phone numbers or warnings?

No. Staff details, documents, warnings, leave reasons and contracts are only visible to roles you allow. Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's, enforced by the database itself.

What happens when the trial ends?

You choose a plan for your team size. Your rosters and records stay as they are.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Every page can be exported to Excel, and the full export covers a date range you choose (up to a year at a time). If you close your account, the owner can delete the company and everything in it.

Is it only for bars and restaurants?

No. It started at a bar, but departments, shift names, job titles and roles are all your own words, so it suits retail, security, care, warehousing and any team that works in shifts.

Put next week's roster in ScripDock.
